    New one on me, cannot fathom how OK button will work in some menus but not others or what could have caused it to act in this manner.

    Usual solution for remote problems is to try taking the batteries out for a while, and/or replacing them, but do not see how this would fix your issue.

    Only solution I am aware of is to get a replacement dongle and hope this one works.

    Q. Is it possible to record one channel and watch another.

    A. Presently only if the second channel is on the same transponder as the first.

    You can of pause/rewind the second channel, and once the first has finished recording you can then record the second including any content that was buffered.

    Edit: post #1 has been updated to include more HDD I have tried.

    You can now adjust postcode, try just first part if still having problems.

    You cannot set favourites to be default.

    You will need both cables if you do not have a serial port on your PC.

    No experience of Tronisoft personally, but suspect Martin would not have included the link if he had any concerns.

    It is because the programme next week on the 21st only has series crid data currently annotated to it, and therefore the unit is trying to set to many timers. Only solution is to set just a one off timer for this week and hope the BBC correct it for next week.

    1.03.06 works perfectly well on ‘old’ HDR T2’s – well it is on mine anyway.

    I am using a HD T2.

    Just tried top 5 again, and they all work.
