Give me a few minutes and I can format a 2TB HDD as ext 3 and try, unfortunately my 3TB is tied up in a long term test on another product.

Just tried that postcode on mine and ITV player via 903 is working OK.

    1. Confirm you are connected to your network and it is working by trying BBC iplayer.

    2. Try a factory reset.

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

We do not have that exact version of PVR in UK, but I guess it is based on our HDR T2 so would suggest it is a metadata problem, ie data transmitted by broadcaster is missing.

I do note that there is a software update available and the release note states ‘Improved Series Recording Service for SBS’

Do you have the latest version 1.08.09 uploaded?

Have you tried contacting Humax support via: ausupport@humaxdigital.com

Can you confirm live TV viewing is ok ie no break up in picture/sound.

Almost certainly a 2 year warranty if bought from JL.

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

Yes it is normal if you have HDMI CEC turned on on the TV.

Called different names depending on manufacturer eg:

    Panasonic – Veira link

    LG – Simplink

    Sony – Bravia Sync

    Toshiba – Regza Link

Snap – Repassac quicker with the typing :-)

Previously had the ability to supply power to a mast mounted aerial amp & a setting to switch this on & off

(I can’t now find this, does that mean the power up coax function has gone?)

Function still available, in installation menu.

Now the box rather huffily says, as it’s about to record “Is it OK to switch channels”, which probably results in a lost recording if you’ve popped out to put the kettle on, I don’t know what it does if you don’t respond

If you do not respond to the pop up message, the unit changes channel after approx 30 seconds and records scheduled timer.

    Quote:
Previously only the channels you couldn’t watch due to 2 recordings being made were greyed out, now they all seem to be not available

Press the OK or list button, channels unavailable to view are ‘greyed out’

1 TB version now available to pre order from Humax Direct:

    http://www.humaxdirect.co.uk/product.asp?ProdRef=10116

Includes wifi dongle for network connection.

    Update: Stocks expected 30 November

and someone asked me to confirm this:

The remote is multi mode ie you can set 1 of 6 modes so as not to conflict with other Humax products.
