Ah we maybe getting somewhere, there was a spate of problems with the Edimax 7711 UAN dongles not working, we never got to the bottom of it, assumed it was a bad batch.

There are also reports that items with win 8 logo on the box do not work.

    Options:

    1. Get you dongle replaced with another and hope for the best.

    2. Use the Humax one.

    1. I have moved your other post re the Humax dingle to this thread as it is allied to it.

Slightly confused by the use of the term ‘username’ you mention in original post.

    2. When in the Internet settings menu, highlight network name and press ok, does your network appear in the list of networks found?

Would someone be kind enough to explain what loopthrouh is please? Many thanks.

Route the aerial signal in and out of one device to another such as a TV or another recorder.

Point 2 – Easy fix, change the remote code of the HDR T2 see FAQ:

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

I do not think a download version has been made available as yet.

I’ll check with Humax towers next week and see if I can obtain a pdf of it, and upload to this site.

Progamme info should detail if there are subtitles, and then just a matter of selecting option in menus, or use the subtitle button on remote to turn on/off.

Welcome to the Forum Steve :-)

Just checked the HD channels that are currently broadcasting and subtitles are fine from my transmitter.

As per post in other thread:

Looks like the HB is different to the HDR in this respect.

No way that I can find, next software update appears to remove the banner when playing back recordings.

According to Humax Towers the HDR 2000T tuning is the same as the latest release for the HDR T2 which appears to be correct from my tests.

I can pick up 3 transmitters, and both the HDR T2 and HDR 2000T correctly tune in the strongest signals from one transmitter – I used to get a mixture of all 3 previously, and therefore had to manually tune.

Is the aerial plugged straight into the 2000T or looped thru’ something else?

Compared 2000T figures with a 9300 and 9150 on same aerial and they are very similar.

When comparing did you note the mux frequency?

I would re check the tuning of the HDR 2000T.

The USB ports on these models currently can be used for nothing except charging your mobile phone etc.

I would hazard a guess that the OP has the Humax HDR 1010S freetime box in white so will move to that area.
