HD T2 iplayer radio issue has been highlighted to Humax Towers, but no news as yet.

    Thanks for the update.

I did use a 1TB WD Passport usb powered for a while, before switching to powered 3TB for long term testing, and that caused no problem.

I’ll jump in here and help for a mo:

    Software can also be found:

    http://beta.humaxonline.co.uk/freesat-hd

About half way down page you need Foxsat-HDR_1.00.21.zip

Click on the download link and save to PC. Extract and you will find software file, and a txt file with instructions on how to upload to Foxsat.

Graham a bit quicker then me :-)

Humax Towers advise they will highlight it to engineers to look into, but no definite promises to fix at this stage.

Will update if and when I get more info.

Does anyone know how a HDR-2000T/ HDR-FOX T2 combination works with respect to DLNA streaming? Does streaming of HD files work in either direction?

No that does not work either, only SD.

Barry, if you could test that would be wonderful and perhaps would help others make the same decision I’m making.

    Thanks again.

Sorry to bring you bad news, but have connected second unit, and as suspected in my previous post, you cannot stream HD content between the two, only SD.

Humax Towers should be aware of this of this one, but I will remind them of this shortfall tomorrow, and try and find out if it is to be addressed in a future software release.

    Welcome to our Forum :-)

This site is primarily aimed at UK users and equipment, but in an effort to help…

Have you tried changing the Display Format setting in the Humax menu’s?

If you cannot even get it to switch on with front button, then you are out of options I suspect. Faulty unit of power supply.

Return to retailer for exchange or contact Humax support.

    Pop up on V13

    1 changed channel:

All I can spot with a quick look through is:

Chan 734 – LBC 97.3 name changed to just LBC

Connected to HDMI 1 on TV per chance?

Could be CEC (viera link as known on Panasonic equipment) not working well between TV and Humax.

If so try another input on the TV, or turn off viera link.

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

Sounds very similar to something that might happen with picture format (aspect ratio) change?

    1. How is unit connected to TV?

    2. Brand of TV?

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

Do not have 2 x HDR 2000T in use at the moment, but when I did I am sure SD streaming was fine but HD was not.

Won’t be able to reconnect second unit until tomorrow – if you still require a definitive check.
