You could try a factory reset and/or re pairing the remote and unit see FAQ re changing remote code:

Are you sure it is not switching on as it takes a while to display anything on TV, look for the red power led going off as a confidence check.
Box takes a couple of minutes to shut down to full standby, which is why you see it boot almost immediately.
All channels carried on Com7 multiplex which is transmitted at a lower power then all others, and it would appear to weak for the Youview box to pick up.
You could try putting aerial feed directly into Youview box and then retune to see if it will then pick them up.
What channels are missing – might give a clue as to whether it is a mux problem or not.
Do you know which transmitter you receive signals from?
Well blow me after saying only seen this once I have similar problem tonight on BBC 3 HD recording – spoke to soon ❗
Chris my file is smaller, only a 30 minute programme so will use that if required by engineers – will highlight to Humax Towers tomorrow.
Don’t have BBC 4 HD in my area yet, but have set a few timers for BBC 3 HD.

As you have tried aerial out – and if I understand correctly the reboots still occurred. Then only other suggestion it to try uploading software again.

The symptoms you describe are certainly indicating a HDD failure of sorts, or maybe a slim chance the connections to it are loose.
Only ever seen this once many moons ago with an ITV HD recording, had to power cycle unit to enable playback of recording.
Unfortunately Humax still appear to have issues providing any downloads…however in an effort to help please check your Private Messages (PM’s)
