Afaik there is not and never has been an issue with Foxsat-hdr power supply issues. Mine is still working with a 1TB drive installed in 2008.
The issue revolves around the notorious capxon capacitors as found on the old Thomson sky boxes.
The Foxsat-HD did have these though mine lasted about 2 yrs before they needed replacing.
Agree with Graham re Foxsat HDR.
I have 2 working fine, one is older then any other publically owned 😉 – and is the one I use for updating the changes thread so booted many times a day.

ModeratorTook quite a while for pairing to be acknowledged when I set it up again.
My test of the Simpsons – recorded in HD.
Edit: Set Countdown tomorrow as next test, appears in planner to be recorded on C4HD.
Barry
ModeratorAgainst my better judgement, just paired my HB 1000S again to try this.
Set The Simpsons 1800 C4HD to record single episode, and as per OP rec symbol is also on C4 in app guide, however only C4HD episode appears in my planned timers on the unit itself, we shall see what happens.

We don’t have HMS in the UK as yet so I fear we may not be of much help.
The user manual for that model is not of much help either.
If you highlight a multi episode programme and press OK does it not then list all the episodes?

I have never had this problem which throws doubt on it being exclusively a software problem but also possibly relates to the broadcaster or transmitter.
Me neither – Definitely tuned to one transmitter.
I think it is the ‘tuned to more then one transmitter’ problem, which users could have had from the outset, but is now highlighted for some reason with last software update.
Reports of sometimes failing sometimes working adds evidence to this theory in that it fails if you happen to be watching a channel from one transmitter but timer is from another. Same user then reports it is working ie they happen to be watching a channel on same transmitter.
Now if YouView had listened at the outset 🙄 it would be easy to prove ie manual tuning facility or at least an indication in system menus of which mux you are watching, ala other Humax T2 products.

ModeratorYou have not mentioned which well known retailer so how about:

Humax Direct went offline Friday, under going a revamp according to their Facebook page:
Humax Direct to be re-vamped! Our sales site is now off-line & will be back soon with a new look and features. For customer support or product issues please call 0344 318 8800 or email uksupport@humax-digital.co.uk.

ModeratorThis may seem obvious, and may not be the answer to your query, but it caught me out initially.
You can only cursor left on channels that have ‘content available on their on demand’ players.
Barry
ModeratorThe crid data looks to be ok.
Do you have more then one series link set for the programme?
I have just set Mondays episodes as a series link, and it has ignored the repeats the following Saturday, which is correct.
Barry
ModeratorWelcome to our Forum

Some broadcasters still mess up the crid data.
If you can post an example of a programme that is causing issues then we can check/advise further.
Barry
ModeratorIf you had read the sticky post at the top of forum you would have been aware of this before you made comments at post #5
As some of our members have already commented, Humax should be applauded for updating a unit that has been out of production for a number of years.

ModeratorQuote:My 1800T networking has always been rock-solid (eg ftp access from laptop; streaming via skifta to phone; remote control app on phone etc)Not the problem that I have highlighted.
Do you find that the network option is present when you press media then blue, especially just after switch on – it is a known issue and Humax Towers are aware.
Barry
ModeratorWelcome to our Forum Bob

You can stream SD but not HD to the 1800T, however caveat, networking and 1800/2000T is ‘flakey’ I find I have to use the portal first on 1800/2000T units before the network option appears via media/blue.

You haven’t per chance moved the unit or TV recently and maybe slightly dislodged the scart cable – worth checking anyway.
