    It’s been either JAG or Walker: Texas Rsanger on CBS justice during the night, last night it was walker with JAG recording fine, yesterday it was JAG that failed and Walker was fine. In the past couple of weeks it’s been 3 or each that failed but on diffeent days.

    Walker is 02:55-03:50

    JAG is 04:35-05:20

    Thanks. Not channels I record I am afraid; anybody else record these and either having success or failure?

    Set up as tests yesterday will report any failings.

    Not much help but so far so good (timers start date Thurs 15 July)

    More detail – I set timers on Aura, 5000T and 2 x freesat units, to date all have recorded without issue.

    Schedule list, highlight timer you want to cancel and press Red button may be easier option.

    Options are greyed out during playback of a recording, and/or unit is recording.

    With the LED being red it would appear your unit ‘thinks’ it is recording.

    2 Options:

    1. Disconnect power to the unit and try again

    or

    2. If you are familiar with uploading software to the unit I can provide a ‘default file’ for you to upload which will restore unit to factory condition.

    Thanks Barry, just one more quick question, if you don’t mind.

    With the box on, if I do the 0 and OK together long press, and don’t press a digit will the box display the existing mode without changing it.

    Should do, remote mode change will time out (as indicated by the LED on remote) and no change wil be made.

    Safest way for mode 3 change is to power unit(s) in the vicinity off first, or take remote to a different room.

    You can only change the unit to mode 1 with a remote so that will also change, if you want to change the remote to a different code afterwards then power all units off beforehand, or take the remote to a different room.

    Just like to say thank you Humax. This box is almost unrecognisable from the original version. So many new enhancements/improvements/fixes.

    I would also like to say thank you to all the people who beta tested this update too. It’s all working great so far!

    A bigger thank you should be to Barry for managing the whole process and keeping us all in-line.

    I for one am looking forward to future enhancements. Let the testing continue.

    Noticed some of the submenus do not have the new red colour accent, still got the old grey accent.

    The colour accent is Orange, not Red!

    Oh for goodness sake Barry that is just a ridiculous statement to make whether it is red or orange does not answer why a set of submenus in Humax’s own UI cannot match the theme of others doesn’t make sense.

    When I go through the menus the colour of the highlighted menu item is a dark red colour and when pressed goes orange before it goes to the selected menu item.

    Ok but do check, the EPG is orange and the settings highlight/accent is definitely red/ dark red on my Aura.

    Whatever colour it does not answer why some submenus are still grey.

    Well actually it is not OK, your crass comment was aimed at the wrong person.

    Re menu accent cloour change.

    As mentioned in the testing thread

    Humax do not have control of some Apps – some settings are from those external Apps and cannot currently be changed.
