    Hi ‘bfae’,

    Sorry, but I had not time to completely transfer the instructions from the humaxdisk wiki to this one. I have just done so (except the photos, which need updating).

    You might want to check that you’ve constructed your cable properly by reading the ‘How to Contruct Your Cable’ section and then make sure you are operating correctly by reading the ‘How it Works’ section of the wiki.

    If you still have problems after this, reply here and I’ll try to help further…

    Regards,

    simple – 8 hours ago  »

    I want to rename the TS files using the *.epg file to include the programs full title and maybe even use the other information in some sort of tag.

    Install Perl and write a renaming script… I had a go at this a long while back but found no one was really interested… But could have another go…

    I was right about the RADIO glyph. I was wrong about the FULL glyph – this indicates that picture output is at full resolution – it is affected when you press the v-format button…

    Here’s a few that I’ve gotten to know…

    [attachment=1494,39]

    The ‘viewing TV or listening to RADIO’ should be just viewing TV, as I think if you listen to radio, there’s the RADIO glyph for that on the display.

    I’ve seen the FULL glyph – indicating the resolution of the broadcast picture – I think…

    Have you tried the dongle on both USB ports?

    Can you confirm that there is a WiFi signal in the area where your unit sits?

    Humax support via email is poor – email is not the best way to communicate with them.

    Not sure if this is still a problem but the 9200T had problems handling very large number of recordings – there is a limit – I forget the number now. I mention this because once you’ve upgraded the disk, it will hold more recordings and will come across this limit at some stage.

    I’ve been using a 250GB non-ACE drive in my 9200T for years now without problems. You might want to do the same – I would not recommend going over 320GB for the reason above.

    Seems to blame everything else but himself!

    I guess the lack of revenue finally ‘broke’ him?
