Why are the recordings being recorded twice, on the same channel, and at the same time?
Is this happening occasionally or with all recordings? I see it happen maybe once a month and I don’t know the reason but I would sooner it recorded twice than not at all.

And where do you set automatically update ?
Providing the Aura is connected to the Internet, the updates will happen silently with no user intervention.

Stop kidding ourselves – No update for over 3 years Humax aren’t going to do one now
How many tech gadgets get updates after none for 3 years?
There have been small updates to fix serious problems so none is painting an unduly bleak picture. I agree that there are plenty of issues we would all like to see fixed and I have no idea if the update will address them or whether it will be an Android update but Barry has a very long track record of knowing what Humax UK are doing.

Today I deleted the 1 May timer and set one for 2 April which seems to have worked so I can only surmise that some coding clown and put something in the coding for 1 April (All Fools day)
I think it is much more likely to be associated with the start of British Summer Time which usually throws up some anomalies on various Humax products.

Yes streaming works, I had forgot I didn’t setup google account for youtube but yes it works. Do you have the info come up without pressing the info button “I”?
The additional information I see when the program is highlighted in the guide is a series number and either an episode number or episode title. To get the description I have to press the “I” button.

I can leave it on a program in the guide, and it doesn’t change, it’s connected to the internet by ethernet cable and the Manhattan by wifi.
Can you stream content on the Aura (which would show that the internet connection is working)?

Manhattan top and Humax Aura bottom.
It looks to be the other way round to me: Aura first link and Manhattan second link. Is your Aura connected to the internet as some of the information for the guide (which is missing in your picture) is supplied over the internet; it can take a few seconds to appear, maybe longer with a slow internet connection.

Ok, all done!
It is a bit challenging the first time but once you understand the process it gets much easier. I am really pleased that you got things to work the way you wanted.

How do I manually retune it to BBC South?
Try reading this old post by user Biggles https://myhumax.org/forum/topic/week-old-9300t-and-epg-wont-fill-up-for-week#post-7097
To get the channel number you will need go to https://www.freeview.co.uk/freeview-channel-checker input your post code and house number, then click on the Check button. On the next screen it will tell you how many channels are available but to get the details you need click on the “Detailed Transmitter View” link. This will give a list of possible transmitters. Decide which one you want to use and then from the table you want to record the multiplex channel number from the column headed by a white N on a black circle for each of the multiplexes (BBC A, D3&4, BBC B, SDN, ARQ A, ARQ
; there may be other local multiplexes. Then follow the Biggles tuning instructions from the above link.

That’s possible, Martin. I’ll give it a try. Do you know where the retune/station scan command is located? Is it something you get to via Menu on the remote? Thanks!
Press the Menu Button> select Installation> Enter the PIN which defaults to 0000> select Automatic Search.

Thanks guys.Martin: I didn’t do a channel search because it came straight up with BBC1. I think the previous owners probably left the channels on it that they had.
Yes the previous owners probably did leave the channels on it that worked for them but if they were receiving from a different transmitter, then you need to do a retune.

Is there a setting I need to make on the Humax for the antenna signal to be received?
Have you done an automatic channel search?

Thanks for the reply and a good article, my tv is only two and a half years old Sony and the handshake has worked fine for four years. Will percivere with a fix and report back, cheers.
I have seen this problem occur on a small number of occasions but in my case just putting the box into standby and then starting it up again is usually enough to resolve the issue. I think on one occasion I needed to turn the power off (after putting the box in standby) to get it going again. Also check that the HDMI cable is properly seated at both ends.

Sorry I don’t know which group to post this in.
Can you plug a manhattan T3r and humax aura in at the same time like piggy backing.
Yes just connect an aerial cable from the Aura RF out socket to the aerial in socket on the T3r.

The issue I am having with channel 6 is that when I put the channel on it plays for less than 1 second then stops & doesn’t resume. The issue ceased for a short while then returned. If anyone else is experiencing any issues with Channel 6 or indeed any other channels this information would be helpful. No other comments are needed.
Please could you tell us which transmitter are you receiving from?
