About two days ago in the recorded programs screen I had logos next to the program titles that I didn’t recognise and the program wouldn’t play. Today all the recorded programs were gone, now I cannot record anything. Any ideas anybody.
The file system has become corrupt. The easiest fix is to format the hard drive from the HDD Control menu item in the Record menu. That should restore functionality; if the problem returns relatively quickly then the hard drive is probably approaching the end of its life.

I was trying to set up my mum’s Humax so she can watch recorded programs in the kitchen as well as the lounge, but I couldn’t find the output. I tried scanning both digital and analogue, but found nothing. What channel is the output on please?
There is no modulator so it isn’t possible to watch recorded programs via the aerial out socket. You could use a SCART modulator which should do the trick eg Link to eBay seller

Sorry if this is a common query, but we lost a number of channels (mainly BBC channels) a few days ago.
First inspect the aerial cabling looking for badly made joints, water ingress or kinks. Then try a manual tune using these instructions Manual tuning FAQ

Yea i think i was on a HD channel, as for the surround sound i have no idea to be honest left it at default,
Change it to stereo and in all probability your problem will go away.
Are you say volume does not work on HD channels Granham?
The problem is with your TV not understanding how to change the volume on the default audio output format used on HD.

9300T I have just retuned my 9300T and the programs are not in the order they were before, how do I move a prog, from chanel 800 to chanel 1 on the list
Having channels above 800 is a very bad idea. You need to do a manual tune using the Biggles instructions at Link to Biggles manual tuning FAQ

ok doen that still freezes here is the other info
software version 1.00.21
loader version a.4.09 anything else still not showing a HD in the menu
Software version 1.00.23 would be better but is probably not causing the problem. When you say “not showing a HD in the menu” what exactly do you mean?

I have a NEW 9200T which I was given about three years ago, it was a gift that never got used as I already had a 8000T which worked nicely, any way I plugged this 9200t in and it wont record. Picture freezes but still can be heard behind but remote wont work and the thing wont record.
Try bringing it out of standby with the aerial removed; if you then have control do a reset to default settings, put the box into standby, connect the aerial and do another reset to default settings.

Hi my 9200t has stopped displaying the time when on standby can anybody help please?
This sounds like the clock board problem. See the Biggles FAQ on cleaning it at Link to clock board FAQ
and also are humax still sending software updates for the 9200t?
I think we all assume there will be no further software updates for the 9200.

Hi my 9200t can i record two programs whilst watching another channel if so why do i get a message saying this channel is scrambled or unavailable?
If you are recording two channels that come from different multiplexes then the channels you can watch simultaneously are limited to the other channels carried by those two multiplexes. A list of which channels are on which multiplex is available at Link to Digital UK

on our pvr-9150t we have at the moment 10 programs recorded which is a total of 7 hours, but the machine is telling me it is 54.2 % full, how do I clear the space.
Watch the programs and then format the drive from the HDD Control menu item in the Record menu.

Just read a entry from 2 months ago and it seems similar, My HDR-Fox T2 box has just started to not record the ends of the programs which are set to record on the series link.
You seem to have posted in the FOXSAT section but claim to have a Freeview HDR-FOX T2; could you clarify which box you have? The first thing to try if you do have an HDR-FOX T2 is a manual tune using the instructions at Link to manual tuning FAQ..

My pvr has recently (last few months) started to reset itself losing all the aspect ratios, preferences such as Hdmi settings, time skip etc. and recording schedules. The channel list do not reset so the device is not fully resetting. I have not tried to fully reset and format the HD due to having record programme which I would like to keep.
This problem has been reported before but I don’t recollect a permanent solution. You can try doing a reset to default settings which will not delete your existing recordings.

It’s now allowing me to set it as a series link but is only showing up in my record schedule for tonight and not for the rest of the week.
As you scroll through the list of scheduled recordings those with more than a single episode will allow you to press the right arrow button (to right of OK button) to show you all the scheduled recordings.

Has anyone managed to get Vintage TV (242) to work.
I saw that it is supposed open on any Freeview+ receiver but I just get a blank screen when I attempt to access this new channel (242 VintageTV)
It is an IPTV channel (the content is delivered via the Internet) and these don’t usually work on the HDR-FOX T2. Their web site (Link to Vintage TV page about Freeview) suggests that it will work on an HDR-2000T.
